Fishing with Capt. Josh of the Santiva Saltwater Fishing this nice snook was caught and released while fishing the oyster bars of Pine Island Sound. 
Snook are out of season and are not targeted by the guides of the Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team.
 2010 's  SWF winter was the cause of a massive and  unusual kill of this wonderful game fish. Florida Fish and Game Commission closed the season in 2010 for and undisclosed length of time in order to give the snook population of SWF a chance to repopulate.
Snook can be caught and released unharmed, but the Santiva Team feels the best thing to do is leave them alone for now.
