Winkler Road Baptist Church Teens

Its the time of year when the wonderful guides of the Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team donates their time and expertise to take the kids fishing.

Pastor Joe Calger from Winkler Road Baptist Church rounds up his teen and heads out to Captiva

The kids had a beautiful morning . The weather could not have been better. Mild, sunny and clear.
The teens went home with fillets on ice and smiles on face.
After  a great morning of fishing, the kids enjoyed a dock lunch of hot dogs and chips at Tween Waters Marina Captiva Island.

A big THANK YOU

Capt. Jim Burnsed, Capt. Jimmy Burnsed, Capt Rob McKay, Capt Josh Shardin, Capt. Shawn Kelly,  Capt. Bryan Dollar , Capt. Lamar Williams and Capt. Jeff Zasadny

without the captains the trip would not happen.

The Burnsed family and the Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team,
wants you to have some first hand information.
The news media seems to want you to think there is something wrong with our beaches and water.

Do you see anything wrong ?

Come to Captiva !

What month is this ?

The Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team day calendar reads October.
Somebody need to give this tarpon a GPS

Leave it to our own Capt Jimmy Burnsed to find a Tarpon in October

Fall is off with a bang

The month of September seemed extremely quite this year.
Between the daily rain fall , hot temperatures and September being the number one month for possible hurricanes, I think visitors have decided not to come to Florida.

Blogging can prove to be difficult when there is nothing to say.

Fall is starting with a Bang !  Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team is back on the waters, temperatures have dipped into the high 80's  and the rain has slacked off

OH Yeah...the red fish are big !!!
