Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team - The Burnsed Family

Vacationer Tom Bly landed this 18 lb. snook March 27, while fishing with Capt. Jim Burnsed.
Snook are out of season, so after the picture the fish was returned to the waters of Pine Island Sound unharmed .
 Capt. Jim was really surprised that Tom was able to land this big fish. They were fishing light tackle on a trout pole and the snook decided he liked what he saw.

The snook came up out of the water and shook his head, Capt. Jim commented "that's the last time you will see that fish" Capt. Jim felt sure that Tom would never be able to hold the big fish on the small tackle.

 But Tom surprised the 30 year fishing veteran. After fighting the fish all around and under the boat, Tom was able to boat the fish for a picture. Great job Tom.
