 The Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team was hoping for a quick start to the 2012 Tarpon season . With the unusually high winter temperatures and warm water, the captains thought  Tarpon might even arrive earlier.

Instead of Tarpon...........May has brought more than our share of windy days.

Each day brings new and different expectation from the beautiful waters off Captiva,  and tomorrow might just be "the best day of fishing ever". Tarpon show up over night

In spite of the disappointment in the Tarpon fishing, customers are enjoying catching sharks, sea trout and red fish.
