Bob and Kathy Marquardt are yearly visitors to Captiva Island from Sylvania, Ohio. The family hooked up some big red fish this morning while out with Capt. Jim Burnsed of the Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team.
Bob and Kathy have included a fishing trip with Capt. Jim each year while vacationing in our area.

The Marquardts are one of the 1000's of families that have discovered their is no better place to relax than the beautiful Sanibel - Captiva area.  Sanibel and Captiva have the highest average year round temperatures of the continental USA.
 Our beaches are rated in the top ten in the world and Sanibel is rated in the top 4 beaches for shell collecting.  WOW that is impressive when you think that the 2 islands together are less then 20 miles from tip to tip and 2 miles wide at the widest point and 2/3 of the Islands are National Wildlife Refuge
 Don't forget the SWFL is a fishing capitol too. Come see for yourself what the fuss is all about.
