March is still roaring like a lion. In spite of the breeze conditions, Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team is hitting the water everyday. These are happy anglers Jay Merrick and friend Kelly from Pennsylvania.
Kelly boasted the catch and release of 21 fish with the largest being this 6 lb. red fish. Live shrimp and a popping cork is still the bait of choice for reds. Capt. Jim is using jigs for trout on the grass flats
Jay is one of the many loyal yearly visitors of the Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team .
The weather man is predicting rain tomorrow, we sure need the rain but I hope it doesn't spoil the day for tomorrows scheduled anglers.
