This is a temporary situation. It happens every year, ..... maybe not this bad , but it is still temporary.
My opinion ...... I am a Floridian from birth, my parents and my grandfather were born in Florida.
I am not a sicentist......... But I am OLD and I pay attention.
As long as we want manicured lawns and golf courses along the water, as long as we pump fertilizers and pesticides on to those areas, as long as we keep pouring concrete onto every sandy spot and allow ing the Army Corps of Engineers to "fill the swamps"and dam the waters ........ nature can not keep up.
You can't just blame "Big Sugar " We all need to wake up and take some blame.
Did you know that God placed as as caretakers of the earth ? We can't destroy the earth until God is ready... but we can sure mess it up.
We don’t worship the earth; instead, we realize that God gave it to us, and we are accountable to Him for how we use it. After creating Adam, the first man, the Bible says, “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it” (Genesis 2:15). God didn’t tell him to exploit the world or treat it recklessly, but to watch over it and use it wisely. Like a good ruler, we should seek the welfare of everything God entrusts to us—including the creation. The Bible says, “A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal” (Proverbs 12:10).
There are generations to come........
"THE BOSS " |
Don't forget they are more and more of us, each one taking our own toll on our environment. Capt. Jim and I are baby boomers........ our granddaughter Abby said our generation has done more damage then any other. That is not a legacy I want.
My family might say " This is Mom's opinion... not necessarily that of the Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team....... a disclaimer...... LOL
Lets GO.... come back and see us.... get back on the water, Hawaii has the volcano , California is burning, the mid west is under water, Florida has some red tide ............ Hey NBC, ABC, CBS
GOT ANY GOOD NEWS . HMMMMMM I think I feel better LOL
❤
