These guys are great! They will take you fishing or take you out to see dolphins and collect shells. They are Florida Natives and are the best! This is so much fun and worth every penny. And for you plus size ladies like me, they are kind enough to help you in and out of the boat without embarrassing you. This family of fishing pros are the best Sanibel/Captiva has to offer. You won't be disappointed. We can't wait to come back and go out with them again! And Mrs.Burnsed is so friendly on the phone, she makes you feel like family!

Fishing in May
Caroline Garrow and husband visiting Captiva from Milk, Wisconsin, wanted their shark on the beach, not in the boat with them. Fishing with Capt. Jim Burnsed the Garrow's are all smiles after landing this 5 foot shark.
Tarpon 2012
Mike Uffner and family visiting Captiva from Delware, had an exciting morning with Capt. Jimmy Burnsed of the Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team.
It doesn't take a man to fight a Tarpon, but it helps.

Fishing is good and folks are having a great time.
The Tarpon are here and the guys are hooking and boating Tarpon . I ask capt. Jim why I am not getting pictures, he said they are to busy on the trips to take pictures.
So if you have been out with the Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team and have any pictures of your family I can post on the blog, send them to me at santivacharters@comcast.net with your name.

are we the Windy City ?

Instead of Tarpon...........May has brought more than our share of windy days.
Each day brings new and different expectation from the beautiful waters off Captiva, and tomorrow might just be "the best day of fishing ever". Tarpon show up over night
In spite of the disappointment in the Tarpon fishing, customers are enjoying catching sharks, sea trout and red fish.
