One of the Burnsed family favorite eating fish is the Sheepshead. Never sell them short. I had a friend from Largo Florida that called them the poor mans lobster. Mild in flavor , light in color easy to cook.

High winds this week
March roars out like a lion............. High wind fishing make thing difficult for the Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team. But putting smiles on faces is our specialty. Fishing is fun even when conditions are not perfect. I asked the Captains to include names with their pictures..... you see how many listened LOL

Bad weather fishing
Father and Son, Michael and Pat visiting from Iowa spent their very first
saltwater fishing experience with Capt. Jim Burnsed . Unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worst, But the 1st timers managed to pull this 6 foot shark out so they can go home with a fish story. Hey Pat and Michael, come back and try again with the Santiva Saltwater Team

Jim, you are a hero to the little ones. They told shark stories all dinner. We bbq’d the mackerel for lunch. Thanks again.

Fishing or catching
The Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team wants to remind everyone, that Fishing is Fishing and Catching is Catching. Both are great off of beautiful Captiva Island with our Captains.
Mike and Denny
The Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team appreciate our loyal customers. Mike and Denny are always good for some laughs. There were 4 "fishing fools". ( they named themselves). I don't know what. they did with the other 2 LOL
