Shark time

Many of the inquiries for the Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team during spring is for shark fishing.

I have been telling folks........to cold,  I don't think so

I guess the sharks are feeling different.

Maybe they gave up waiting for warmer weather too.

Hi Dal,

We fished with Brian on Tuesday in less than ideal conditions but had a great morning!  2 spotted sea trout and 4 catfish.  We had fun catching them even though Brian thought they were not great.  Lamar and Brian are great guides, looking forward to next year!

Enjoying a windy day with the Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team.   Anglers, young and older  strapped down their hats and braved the windy day with out disappointment.

What's up with March ?

 Rich and Pam Bzdyra from Rhode Island are showing off their catch this week.  Capt. Josh fishing with the Santiva saltwater Fishing Team, found a nice spot out of the wind.

I guess I should not have been bragging about the great January and February weather.
March has made me humble again.

It's March 20th and the  water temperature is back down to 68,  very strange weather for Captiva.

Windy and rainy for March, BUT NO SNOW and nice temperatures.
